Bal Sanskar Kendra

Behind the bright lights of cities, there are many dark slum areas that often go unnoticed. In these slums, thousands of children grow up in poverty, deprivation, and insecurity. They do not have toys in their hands, they do not have big dreams before them, and often, they do not even have someone to guide their lives. In the fast-paced world, very few people pause to look at these underprivileged children.

Anything You Need

From flexible plans to modern interiors, every detail is designed to help you focus on what truly matters — your work and growth.

But every child carries within them a bright future. They only need the right values, education, and love.

With this very thought, Bal Sanskar Kendra has emerged as a social movement. It is an effort to provide not only education but also moral, cultural, and spiritual values to children between the ages of 5 to 18 living in slum areas. The conditions of these children are extremely challenging—poverty, unstable environments, and lack of guidance often trap their childhood in difficulties.

Through these centers, children are brought together in community spaces (vihars), where they are guided towards education, discipline, values, and a better way of life. Here, they are not only given bookish knowledge, but seeds of confidence, self-respect, and humanity are also sown in their hearts. Their hidden talents are identified and encouraged through various cultural and creative activities.

This initiative began in the year 2008 as a small effort. Today, it has grown into a strong movement with around 25 Bal Sanskar Kendras actively functioning in Sambhajinagar city. One of the most inspiring aspects of this movement is that the children who once studied in these centers have now grown up and are themselves guiding the next generation.

Every evening from 7 pm to 9 pm, children gather at these centers. In those two hours, they do not just study—they learn life-building values. They are introduced to the path of compassion, wisdom, and equality taught by Gautama Buddha, and are inspired by the thoughts of great social reformers like Jyotirao Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and B. R. Ambedkar.

In these Bal Sanskar Kendras, we do not just provide education—we try to give wings to dreams. Because the dream shining in the eyes of a slum child has the power to transform the future of society.
